BACKGROUND
Born in 1961 in Yamagata. After working at a food company, he became an entrepreneur and opened the yakiniku restaurant Daisetsu in Kyoto. In 2015 he joined the first class of the Chikumagawa Wine Academy, clearing a vineyard in Ueda while commuting between Kyoto and Ueda. He founded his winery in 2024.
