PHILOSOPHY

Our aim is to propose a vision of society centered not on wine or alcohol per se, but on “food” and a “prosperity” unclouded by passing trends. Having grown up in Masutomi—a rural, depopulated corner of Yamanashi—we place particular weight on the revitalization of regional communities.

ワインやアルコールというよりも「食」及び世間の流れに惑わされない「豊かさ」を中心に社会提案していきたいと考えております。また、わたくし自身が山梨県の増富という田舎の過疎地域出身であることから地方の活性に重きを置かせていただきます。

BACKGROUND

Graduated in 2001 from the Department of Biotechnology (formerly Fermentation Science) at Yamanashi University's Faculty of Engineering. Worked six years in the viticulture department of Katsunuma Jozo. In 2006 he helped launch Shion Jozo, and did contract vinification at Sanyo Jozo, serving nine years as managing director and plant manager. He established Kyoeido LLC in 2016 and opened the Kyoeido (Murofushi) Winery in 2021.
